Biography

Lazaro was born in Veracruz Mexico and emigrated to The United States in July 1986 to complete a master degree in environmental sciences and engineering at Drexel university. He became involved in the music community immediately after his arrival, and formed Synthesis Latin Band with Jeremish Navawi in 1987. The band started playing in mayor events along with arists such as Graham Nash, Pete Seager, Richie Havens and others, gaining widespread recognition in the United States and abroad. The band has played in the most reputable stages and clubs of the tri-state area and New York and continues playing non-stop after all these years. More than 32 members have played with Synthesis, but Lazaro has been at the front of the band, maintaining its originality and foundation of rhythms. The band has released 3 albums, the last one Alma Latina, contains mostly original material by Lazaro and can be acquired through this website. Lazaro Has personally participated in nearly 16 recordings here and in Mexico, and continues to record and compose music.
